Medical Assistant – Gulf Coast Health Center – Port Arthur, TX is looking to hire a full-time Medical Assistant immediately. Job duties will include, but are not limited to: Coordinate processing and care provided to patients; Assist in maintaining and documenting patient charts including patient’s current condition, care provided, and follow-up prescribed by the physician/provider; Perform or arrange for labs or other diagnostic/clinical tests or treatments provided as needed. Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) – Gulf Coast Health Center needs a LCSW for our Port Arthur location. Hours are 11am – 8pm, Monday – Friday. The LCSW will complete comprehensive assessments and provide individual, group, and family therapies to clients and their families. Will also serve as a patient advocate on a daily basis.  The LCSW will also be responsible for:

  • Working with patients of all ages with a wide array of conditions including Substance Abuse, Behavioral Health and co-morbid medical conditions.
  • Working with a team to create a care plan that will address the identified needs, remove the barriers and improve the health of the patient.
  • Maintaining an inventory of local community and government resources for patients and their families and facilitating patient access to these resources.
  • Assessing the patient’s knowledge of their clinical condition and providing education and self-management support based on the patient’s unique learning style.

Human Resources Manager – Our organization (150+ employees) is looking to hire a HR Manager (Human Resources) to provide day-to-day management of the organization’s HR functions. The HR Manager is responsible for supporting the organization’s HR needs and ensure the proper implementation of company objectives and will maintain human resources policies, programs, and practices.

Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Ensures all processing, input, record-keeping, and reporting of employee data, employment information, and employee benefits information is accurate and timely.
  • Maintains adequate supply of human resources forms, including employee handbook, applications, files, etc. Assists with revision and development of employee handbook as needed.
  • Monitor and advise managers and supervisors in the progressive discipline system of the company. Monitor the implementation of a performance improvement process with non-performing employees.
  • Provide guidance to the Plant Manager regarding human resources matters. Supervise and perform a variety of administrative activities to include compiling and filing of associated reports such as EEO logs and other human resources related questions and reports as necessary.
  • Coordinate interviewing & hiring process, terminations, promotions, performance review, leave management, and ensures proper documentation is completed.
  • Develops and administers various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel.
  • Files EEO-1 annually, maintains other records, reports and logs to conform to EEO regulations.
  • Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings, such as seminars.


  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or business administration required.
  • HR Management experience required.
  • Experience working in healthcare industry preferred.
